In 1971
- The 1971 Grammy Award for Record of the Year went to Simon & Garfunkel for Bridge Over Troubled Water.
- Simon & Garfunkel continued to rake in Grammies with the 1971 Award for Album of the Year for Bridge Over Troubled Water.
- And Art Gunfunkel rounded out the trilogy of Grammy Awards by winning Song of the Year for -- you guessed it -- Bridge Over Troubled Water.
